Place Muscovado and Water in a saucepan, heat over a low heat stirring. When Muscovado has melted and started making bubbles, remove from heat. Add Nuts and mix well to make all nuts coated with Muscovado.

- Place a sheet of baking paper on a large plate or a baking tray.
- Place Muscovado and Water in a saucepan, heat over a low heat stirring.
- When Muscovado has melted and started making bubbles, remove from heat. Add Nuts and mix well to make all nuts coated with Muscovado.
- Spread the nuts on the prepared baking sheet, separate them from each other if you wish, and let them cool.
It's a deep-fried sweet biscuit sticks coated with unrefined dark brown sugar same as muscovado. This is what we call a real treat food in our house. We might have them about a handful of times a year, usually when something special is happening like Christmas or parties.
