- Make ready 250 gm Tapioca
- Prepare 200 gm Chicken
- Get 1 tablespoon Turmeric Powder
- Take 1 tablespoonn Red Chilli Powder
- Get 1 tablespoon Garam Masala Powder
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder

Instructions to make Tapioca Biriyani / Kappa Biriyani:
- Cut tapioca (250gm) into small pieces & cook it with turmeric powder & water till it becomes soft. Drain the water completely and Keep it aside.
- Clean chicken (200gm, cut into small pieces), marinate it with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, pepper powder & salt. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add 2 sliced onions & saute it well. Add ginger garlic paste, 2 green chillies, curry leaves & saute well. Add the marinated chicken & cook till soft. Or pressure-cook it (3 whistles).
- Heat a pan and add cooked chicken & tapioca. Mix well & cook for 5 minutes
- Season with mustard seeds, curry leaves, finely chopped shallots (3to 4) & red chilli pieces in oil. Add this to the tapioca mix & mix well. Serve it hot & enjoy.
