Steps to make Chocolate Tiramisu:
  1. For chocolate sponge I ve used the ends left from my "Amandine" cake

  3. For syrup - add all ingredients in a pot over medium heat. Bring to boil then leave it to cool to room temperature.

  5. Leave in the fridge overnight. Enjoy!

Top with another layer of ladyfingers (reserve any remaining ladyfingers for another use). Chocolate fans will cheer this twist on tiramisu: It has ladyfingers infused with cocoa instead of espresso and an ethereal filling of chocolate and cream cheese. One bite and you'll be transported to your favorite trattoria. Creamy, chocolatey, and a snap to make, this chocolate lover's tiramisu gets an extra pick me up with a shot of coffee liquor.
