Luqaimat - لقيمات Luqaimat is adapted from the word "luqma" as a single one. It has started from Hijaz as a famous dish prepared by the people of Makkah, as soon as the prayer call of Maghrib approaches, some of the neighbourhoods in Makkah and Jeddah start preparing luqaimat in order to sell them. Luqaimat is plural form of Lokma which means mouthful. It is also known as Lokma(لقمة) in Turkey, Luqma al qadi in Arab countries, Loukoumádes.
