The ingredients needed to make Braai T-bone steak:
- Take 12 pieces T-bone steak
- Prepare 2 tsp BBQ spice
- Prepare 2 TSP steak n chop spice
- Get 2 TSP braai spice
- Get 1/3 cup Wellington steak house marinade
Use steaks that are thicker in future, or, braai the same steaks but for a shorter time. If the steaks look great when you slice it and look at it from the side, but are quite tough to chew, then they probably come form a badly raised animal, or they were not aged properly, or both. Buy your steaks at a different place in future. Flip every minute until reaching the desired doneness.
Steps to make Braai T-bone steak:
- Place the meat on a bowl and season each side of it with all the spices and rub so the the spice will go inside the meat.
- Then pour the marinade on top of the meat again rub it well and cover it and place it in the fridge.
- Prepare your fire using charcoal and once is done the fetch the meat and start to braai your T-bone steak
- Each side must be chargrilled and once all sides are done remove and add another until all those pieces are done.
- Our braai is ready now, serve it with pap, green salad and meat.
In future, braai steaks that are thicker, or braai the same steaks but for a shorter time. If the steaks look perfect but are quite tough or tasteless, buy your steaks from a different place in future. If the steaks are underdone, then your fire was not hot enough. Once you have your perfect T-bone, prep doesn't need to go any further than salt and pepper. The salt draws moisture to the surface of the steak, then breaks down the muscle fibres so that the concentrated liquid can be reabsorbed.
